For the better part of a decade, I have spent my working hours building the brand for Steelcase as part of the digital marketing management team. We owned strategy and tactics for all things digital including our websites, promotions, analytics, and motion marketing. In this role I directed countless video shoots, lead creative for high priority product launches, built work processes from scratch, and managed a group of highly dependable video production experts.
Together, we successfully communicated our brand as the industry leader, driving decisions based off our insights, research, and data. At the same time, we pushed the brand forward in ways that allowed us to expand our reach, grow trust and truly solidify our position as #1. I am proud to claim Steelcase as such a large chapter in my career and know that without it my next chapter would not have been possible.
This week begins the next chapter in my career as I step into the role of Chief Marketing Officer at Mercantile Bank. With me I bring years of experience in digital, but also my expertise in what it means to build a strong brand. Mercantile, too, is an industry leader with a firm foundation throughout the Midwest including nearly 50 locations throughout our region. They excel at commercial banking and have an ever-growing foothold in retail. They are known for being trustworthy, high quality and hard working. They deeply care about our community and are ‘here for the party’ when it comes to meeting you where you’re at.
The Mercantile foundation is strong, and I am thrilled to be a part of it. And, as usual, I’ll be sure to share about my happenings at the office here on Mid City Love.
