Direct, cheap flights to Nashville with good friends?! Giddy up! Big thanks to Dana for putting the trip together and to Jeff’s parents for hosting the kids for the weekend while we were away. Nashville was a blast!

We stayed at Hotel Fraye located just outside of the immediate downtown area, but still very near lots of Nashville hot spots including the famous Hattie B’s Hot Chicken and Dolly Parton’s rooftop bar White Limozeen. The hotel was fantastic… beautiful rooms, great service, and we loved hanging by the rooftop pool mid afternoon for a few hours to rest our feet. They have a rooftop bar poolside and live music - it was hopping!

We grabbed happy hour at White Limozeen… amongst the dolled up crowds of bachelorette parties also in town for the weekend… and we got a kick out of the pink decor and fancy cocktail menu that adorned the Dolly inspired bar. Dana even tried out a champagne jello shot.

Another great happy hour spot we found was the opposite of a rooftop… instead we climbed down a few sets of stairs off Broadway to Pushing Daisies, know for it’s margaritas. It had an edgy vibe with a live DJ. Highly recommend making reservations and be sure to try out the spicy marg!

Our dinner spots included Barcelona Wine Bar (Pro Tip: there is a speakeasy bar found off the back alley of the restaurant where you can grab drinks while you wait for your table - it was sweet!), and on Saturday we dined at The Twelve Thirty Supper Club and it was amazing! Fun fact: Twelve Thirty is owned by Justin Timberlake and we can confirm that he is multitalented because his place is amazing! Twelve Thirty has a stage in the center of the wide open dining space with live music and dancing. Dinner was excellent and we got a kick out of our neighboring table that housed three line backers from the Tennessee Titians - true story!

Broadway, the main street that runs through the middle of Nashville, is wild!!! I now understand firsthand why people refer to it as Nash-Vegas. At night, the streets close to car traffic and become pedestrian only. The entire street is lined with bars blasting live music - it’s one big party.

Outside of the bar scene in Nashville, we also enjoyed a few other must-see and do things while in town including a stop at Rustler Hat Co. where people make custom cowboy (or girl) hats. Us Kladders did not partake in the hat making, but we enjoyed watching Cody create his very own masterpiece.

We also made sure to take a pic in front of the famous ‘wings’ mural found in The Gulch neighborhood. The Gulch is home to lots of bars, restaurants, and shops including Uncommon James which is Kristin Cavallari’s jewelry and beauty store. I found the cutest pair of gold hoops that became my one and only souvenir. I love her style and could wear just about any of her jewelry designs.

With Nashville checked off our list, we’re already scheming where to visit next. We can’t stand still for long!
