Meet the new Mr. and Mrs. Logan Warren! This weekend they were married on the Gillett Pedestrian Bridge (between the Henry Ford Museum and the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel) in downtown Grand Rapids. Following, the group joined them for dinner and dancing at the Bissell Tree House located in John Ball Zoo.

I met Mara and Logan a few years ago during the annual Pine River caping trip (revisit Trip 2011 and Trip 2012). I knew from the start they were my kind of people - lovers of the outdoors, drinkers of beer, and fans of having a good time - and their wedding celebration was nothing short of a reflection of their personalities.

Knowing Jeff and I will very soon be attending our own wedding, we danced the night away soaking up the experience that much more. The planner in me paid attention to scheduling, catering, decor... but the bride in me stopped to enjoy the moment.

Sharing in Mara and Logan's special day provided a sneak peek into our future and for the first time in my life (I will shamelessly admit) I teared up watching the first dance - something I fully blame Jeff for. He has softened me up a bit.

Mara and Logan, you are a beautiful couple! We are thrilled for the both of you and wish you all the best during this wonderful time in your lives!

Check out some of the other Pine River camping crew below... they clean up nice!

And for a fun recap of the event last weekend, I created a One Second Epic - an app that you can find on iTunes for FREE! Fun fact: it's a Start Garden investment. Check it out!

This video was made using the app One Second Epic - free for download on itunes.
